Product overview
NewTrend PS8-05 provides adjustable overvoltage, undervoltage and overcurrent protection for AC 220V line-to-neutral circuits. Its backlit LCD shows voltage and current, while separate indicators identify protection and output status. This is the local-control version, without the Wi-Fi connectivity listed for PS8-06. Choose a 32A, 40A, 50A, 63A or 80A AC-1 rating and the upper- or lower-incoming factory wiring version. Voltage-fault, overcurrent, power-up and reset delays can be adjusted.

Operation
- Select the rated current and the factory U (upper incoming) or D (lower incoming) wiring configuration.
- Set overvoltage to OFF or 230-300V and undervoltage to 140-210V or OFF. The voltage-fault action delay is adjustable from 0.1-10s.
- Set the overcurrent threshold from 1A up to the selected rated current and its delay within 2-600s. Power-up delay is 2-600s and reset delay is 2-900s.
- Hold the M setting key for 3s to enter settings; after editing, hold for 3s to save. The decrease/power key can manually control the load after leaving settings and can provide manual reset when automatic fault reset is disabled.

Use the selected U or D incoming-line wiring diagram and set the overcurrent threshold within the ordered current rating. The shared catalogue photograph illustrates the PS8-05 40A upper-incoming version; the model-specific panel drawings distinguish the Wi-Fi controls. Coordinate separate upstream circuit and short-circuit protection for the installation. Installation and wiring must be performed by qualified electricians.
