NewTrend · adjustable voltage and current protector
Product overview
NewTrend PS8-02 provides adjustable overvoltage and undervoltage protection with automatic recovery for AC 220V line-to-neutral circuits. It displays voltage and current and adds an adjustable overcurrent threshold with a separate overcurrent delay. Choose a 32A, 40A, 50A, 63A or 80A AC-1 version and the factory upper- or lower-incoming wiring configuration. The 36mm DIN-rail unit has adjustable voltage-fault and reconnection delays.

Operation
- Select the rated-current version and the U (upper incoming) or D (lower incoming) factory wiring configuration.
- Set the overvoltage threshold within 230-300V or OFF and the undervoltage threshold within 140-210V or OFF, according to the current catalogue.
- Set the voltage-fault action delay within 0.1-10s, power-up delay within 2-600s and reset delay within 2-900s. The function diagram illustrates a 2s power-up setting.
- Set the overcurrent threshold from 1A up to the selected rated current and the separate overcurrent action delay within 2-600s. The displays indicate voltage and current.
Typical applications
- Household-equipment protection against abnormal supply voltage
- DIN-rail distribution panels requiring adjustable voltage thresholds and automatic reconnection

Original protection timing diagrams, application wiring and dimensions
Follow the selected U or D incoming-line wiring. The current catalogue specifies a 2-600s adjustable power-up delay; the timing plot illustrates the 2s setting. Set the overcurrent threshold within the selected rated-current version; the 63A drawing is an example, not an 80A setting limit. The upstream circuit breakers shown in the original application drawings are separate devices. Installation and wiring must be performed by qualified electricians.
