NewTrend · self-resetting voltage protector
Product overview
NewTrend PV8 monitors supply voltage and disconnects the load at its fixed overvoltage or undervoltage threshold, then automatically reconnects after voltage recovery and the reset delay. Select a configuration from the September 2026 technical table: 2P at 32A, 40A or 63A AC-1, or 4P at 63A AC-1. Upper- and lower-incoming factory wiring versions are available. The 2P version is rated AC 220V; the 4P table specifies AC 220V line-to-neutral.

Operation
- Select 2P / 32A, 2P / 40A, 2P / 63A or 4P / 63A from the current technical table, then select U (upper incoming) or D (lower incoming).
- The nominal overvoltage operating/reset values are 265V/257V; undervoltage values are 175V/180V. For 4P these are line-to-neutral.
- Action delay is 1s, power-up delay is 2s and reset delay is 30s. The unit automatically reconnects after supply recovery and the reset delay.
- The photograph shows the 2P 40A lower-incoming version. Use the exact selected configuration and corresponding wiring diagram.
Typical applications
- Overvoltage and undervoltage protection for household equipment
- DIN-rail distribution panels requiring automatic reconnection after supply-voltage recovery

Follow the selected U or D incoming-line wiring. For 4P, voltage thresholds are line-to-neutral. Current standard configurations follow the September 2026 technical table; the broader model-code illustration and older catalogue ratings do not expand these selections. Phase-failure protection is a factory-customized option. Coordinate separate upstream circuit protection for the installation. Installation and wiring must be performed by qualified electricians.
