Product overview
NewTrend RB8-02 switches lighting according to ambient light measured by a matching external sensor. The Func control selects x1 or x10 automatic ranges, covering 1-1000lx or 10-10000lx, plus forced ON and OFF positions. A fixed two-minute switching delay reduces response to brief light changes. The 18mm DIN-rail relay uses AC 110-240V and provides a 16A AC-1 switched-line output.

Operation
- Connect the matching sensor to the IN terminals and the AC supply to L-N, following the original wiring diagram.
- Select x1 for 1-1000lx or x10 for 10-10000lx and set the Lx dial. ON and OFF provide the corresponding manual output states.
- The original function diagram shows a fixed two-minute switching delay. The green Un LED indicates supply and the red R LED indicates output state.
- The LS-01 sensor style uses a 9.6mm panel hole; the LS-02 style uses a 12mm panel hole. Both original sensor drawings show a 200mm lead.

Use the matching D-type sensor listed for RB8-02. The relay supply is L-N and the switched-line output is L-4; follow the original wiring diagram rather than treating the output as an isolated dry contact. Confirm the required sensor style and supplied accessories with the order. Installation and wiring must be performed by qualified electricians.
