What is Chint Shunt Release?

The CHINT SHT-X1 Shunt Release for NXB-63 / NXB-40 MCB Accessories is a shunt trip release - an electrical accessory that mounts on MCBs (Miniature Circuit Breakers) to enable remote tripping. How It Works

Installation Note

The Chint mounts on the left side of compatible MCBs. It requires a control voltage source (separate from the protected circuit). For emergency stop applications, use normally-open push buttons in series with the control voltage supply.

Breaking Capacity

DC vs AC Application
