Product overview
NewTrend RT8-N2 provides ten extended timing modes in an 18mm DIN-rail housing. In addition to power-on on-delay and interval operation, it offers S-triggered delay, accumulated timing, repeat cycling, timing on both S edges and a delayed 1-second pulse. Rotary selectors and a fine-adjustment potentiometer set the function and timing interval. The relay has 2 SPDT contacts rated 16A AC-1.

Choose the exact function code from the timing chart. Accumulated timing, retriggering and the Js 1-second pulse have different behavior from the standard multifunction series.
Operation
- Power-on modes A and B provide on-delay and timed-interval operation. The remaining modes use the S input for the illustrated triggered, accumulated, cycling or edge-controlled sequence.
- Js delivers a 1-second output pulse after the selected delay. Use the waveform chart to specify the trigger and retrigger behavior.

Delay time equals the selected range multiplied by the 10%-100% fine adjustment. Match the S-input wiring and function code to the required sequence. ON and OFF provide permanent output states. Installation and wiring must be performed by qualified electricians.
