NewTrend · Dual-function timer relay
Product overview
NewTrend RT8-EC offers selectable on-delay and power-on timed-interval operation with a 0.1-second to 10-day timing range. The interval mode is marked Delay off on the panel: its output operates when power is applied and releases when the selected time expires. A 10A AC-1 SPDT output, status LEDs and an 18mm DIN-rail housing suit compact control panels.

Choose the supply version before wiring. On the AC 230V / AC/DC 24V version, use A1-A2 for AC 230V or A1-A3 for AC/DC 24V. The AC 380V version uses A1-A2. Apply only one appropriate supply connection. The panel setting Delay off is a power-on interval, not a stored-energy delay after power loss.
Operation
- On-delay: applying the supply starts the timer; the output operates after the selected interval and releases when power is removed.
- Delay off panel setting: the output operates immediately at power-on and releases after the selected interval. Removing power resets the output.
Typical applications
- Industrial equipment timing
- Lighting and heating-element control
- Motor and fan control circuits
