People Electric · Moulded Case Circuit Breaker
Product overview
People Electric RDM10 moulded-case circuit breakers are used for power distribution and infrequent circuit switching. Match the frame and release current to the actual load, and coordinate its short-circuit rating with the available fault current. Motor-protection and optional release configurations require an explicit order specification.
Technical selection summary

| 160A frame currents | 16, 20, 25, 32, 40, 50, 63, 80, 100, 125, 160A |
| 400A frame currents | 100, 125, 160, 180, 200, 250, 315, 350, 400A |
| 630A frame currents | 315, 350, 400, 500, 630A |
| Icu / Ics at AC400V | 100A and 160A frames: 15/7.5kA; 400A frame: 25/12.5kA; 630A frame: 30/15kA |
| Insulation voltage | Up to 500V, as stated in the manufacturer application section |
| Release type | Instantaneous (200 series codes) or double release (300 series codes); specify exact accessory code |
| Short-circuit setting | Default 10In. 400A/630A distribution versions also list 5In; motor-protection table lists 12In. 5In and 12In require special production confirmation. |
| Optional release supplies | Shunt: AC220/380V at 50Hz or DC24/110/220V. Undervoltage: AC220/380V at 50Hz. These are accessory supplies, not main-circuit ratings. |
| Operation | Direct handle or rotary handle; confirm the required operation and connection arrangement |
| Front-connection dimensions A × B × C (mm) | 100A: 153 × 108 × 105; 160A: 153 × 108 × 105; 400A at 100–250A: 276 × 155 × 140; 400A at 315–400A: 276 × 155 × 143; 630A: 395 × 210 × 150. Refer to the drawing for mounting dimensions. |
| Arc distance | ≤100mm as tabulated; observe manufacturer installation requirements |
| Operating environment | -5 to +40°C, daily average ≤35°C; altitude ≤2,000m; pollution degree 3; vertical installation |
| Standard stated | GB 14048.2 |
Frame size and rated current are separate selections. The 400A frame uses different case depths for 100–250A and 315–400A currents. A shunt or undervoltage function is present only when its accessory is specified; do not assume it is supplied with the base breaker. Confirm distribution versus motor duty, instantaneous setting, accessory code and supply before ordering.
Typical applications
- AC400V distribution circuits requiring overload and short-circuit protection with a correctly specified release.
- Infrequent circuit switching and motor starting/protection subject to the matching release and manufacturer confirmation.
