Product overview
NewTrend Y-SVG is a three-phase static var generator for dynamic reactive-power compensation. Voltage platforms cover AC 220V, 380V, 500V, 690V and 800V, with voltage-specific module capacities from 3 to 150kvar. The 220–690V platforms support 3P3W or 3P4W grids and reactive-power plus load-unbalance compensation. The 800V platform is 3P3W with reactive compensation only.

Operation
- The SVG connects in parallel with the load and generates leading or lagging reactive current. Full load current does not flow through the unit.
- Two external current-sampling channels support the three-phase configurations. The separate 5kvar L/N single-phase configuration has its own product page.
- The 220–690V platforms support reactive compensation alone or reactive compensation plus three-phase unbalance correction. The 800V version is reactive-compensation-only and 3P3W.
