Product overview
NewTrend Y-SVG-PLUS is a three-phase static var generator for dynamic reactive-power compensation and three-phase load-unbalance correction. The 220VAC version is available at 37 or 50kvar; the 380VAC version at 75 or 100kvar. Both voltage platforms support 3P3W and 3P4W grids, rack or wall mounting, a full response below 10ms and two external current-sampling channels.

Operation
- The unit connects in parallel with the load and supplies or absorbs reactive current. Full load current does not pass through the SVG.
- Select reactive-power compensation alone or reactive-power compensation with three-phase unbalance correction. Neutral-line filtering applies to installations with a neutral conductor.
- Two external current-sampling channels support low- or high-voltage-side sampling and reactive-component compensation arrangements.
