NewTrend · advanced static var generator
Product overview
NewTrend Y-ASVG combines reactive-power compensation and harmonic-current compensation, with three-phase unbalance correction on supported configurations. The family includes a 5kvar, 220V L/N single-phase configuration and voltage-specific three-phase module ratings from 3 to 150kvar at 220–800V. The kvar values are the catalogue reactive compensation ratings; a separate harmonic-current rating is not specified for every capacity.

Operation
- The ASVG connects in parallel with the load and uses real-time current detection to control reactive, harmonic and applicable three-phase unbalance compensation.
- The L/N single-phase and 800V three-phase configurations support reactive and harmonic compensation without three-phase unbalance correction. Supported 220–690V three-phase versions may combine reactive, harmonic and unbalance functions.
- The catalogue states reactive ratings in kvar. Confirm combined-duty requirements and the harmonic-current requirement for the selected configuration.
Typical applications
- Industrial and commercial feeders with both reactive and nonlinear loads
- Facilities requiring combined power-factor and harmonic-current correction
- Supported three-phase installations requiring load-unbalance compensation

Photographs are original ASVG-family wall-mounted and rack-mounted enclosure examples; warning labels and original technical markings are retained. Electrical configuration follows the selected capacity, voltage and grid arrangement. Neutral-line filtering applies to configurations with a neutral conductor. Installation and wiring must be performed by qualified electricians.
