Product overview
MC7 4P contactors control lighting, heating, ventilation and other building loads through an AC/DC coil. The selected versions use 4NO main contacts; they are distinct from MC7-U recognition-marked versions.
Technical selection summary
| Selectable current | 16A, 20A, 25A, 32A, 40A, 63A for the selected contact arrangement. |
|---|---|
| Main contacts | 4NO. |
| Coil options | AC/DC 12V, 24V, 48V, 110V or 230V, as tabulated for this series. |
| Main circuit | 400V AC for the 4P version on this page. Rated insulation voltage Ui: 500V AC. |
| Motor current examples | 16A / 20A / 25A / 32A / 40A / 63A frames correspond to 6A / 7A / 9A / 12A / 18A / 25A motor-load ratings in the catalog. |
| Mounting | 35mm DIN rail. |
| Standards stated in source | IEC/EN 61095 and IEC 60947-4-1. |

Typical applications
- Lighting and resistive-heating control in building distribution boards.
- Ventilation, pumps and small motors when selected for the actual utilization category.
