Product overview
NewTrend RT8-LS controls delayed lighting in stairways, corridors, entrances and halls. Its adjustable 0.5-20 minute interval and 16A AC-1 normally open output suit compact lighting-control panels. The front switch selects permanent ON, timed AUTO operation or permanent OFF. The 18mm housing mounts on a DIN rail and uses an AC 230V supply.

Select the operating sequence and wiring arrangement for the installation. The 16A AC-1 rating is not a universal lamp-load rating; use the lamp-specific limits and verify inrush current.
Operation
- The AUTO timing chart shows control-input response; ON and OFF force the corresponding output state.
- Use the connection diagram that matches the installation wiring. Illuminated pushbuttons are supported within the stated current and quantity limits.

Set the front selector to ON for permanent output, AUTO for timed operation, or OFF for permanent release. In AUTO, set the required 0.5-20 minute interval using the potentiometer. Installation and wiring must be performed by qualified electricians.
