NewTrend RT8-K2 is a digital-setting multifunction timer relay with four operating modes: on-delay, power-on interval, off-delay with a control input, and single shot. The timing range covers 0.1 seconds to 99 hours with ON and OFF settings. It has 2 SPDT contacts rated 8A AC-1 per contact, separate supply/output LEDs and an 18mm housing for 35mm DIN-rail mounting. Choose AC/DC 12-240V (W240) or AC 230V (A230) control supply.

Set the required function and timing range using the selector switches, then set the time digitally. Modes E and F use the S control input and require the control supply to remain applied. Select the supply version and check the contact load rating before wiring.
Operating modes
- A – On-delay: applying the supply starts the timer. The output transfers after the selected interval and resets when the supply is removed.
- B – Power-on interval: applying the supply transfers the output immediately. It returns after the selected interval; removing the supply also resets the relay.
- E – Off-delay: keep the supply applied. Closing S energizes the output; opening S starts the delay before it releases. Closing S during the delay restarts the sequence.
- F – Single shot: with the supply applied, a trigger starts one timed output pulse. Triggers during the pulse are ignored; a new trigger can start another pulse after the output has released.

Use T to select the timing range and Fun to select mode A, B, E or F, then set the two digital counters. Modes E and F use the control input S with the supply applied continuously. ON holds the output on; OFF holds it off. Isolate power before wiring; installation must be performed by qualified electricians.
