People Electric · Residual-Current MCCB
Product overview
People Electric RDM5L moulded-case circuit breakers combine distribution switching and residual-current protection in AC400V circuits. The rated current must match the selected frame, and the residual threshold/delay combination must be supported by that frame. Specify the release and neutral-pole arrangement for the actual protection design.

| 800A frame currents | 400, 500, 630, 700, 800A |
| 125A residual settings | Non-delay label 0.3s: 30/100/300mA. Delayed 0.4s or 1.0s: 100/300/500mA. |
| 250A and 400A residual settings | 100/300/500mA; 0.3s non-delay label, 0.4s or 1.0s delayed settings |
| 800A residual settings | 300/500/1000mA; 0.3s non-delay label, 0.4s or 1.0s delayed settings |
| Residual type / non-operating current | AC type; rated residual non-operating current 0.5 × IΔn |
| 125A / 250A Icu and Ics at AC400V | L: 35/25kA; M: 50/35kA; H: 85/50kA |
| 400A Icu and Ics at AC400V | L: 50/25kA; M: 65/35kA; H: 100/50kA |
| 800A Icu and Ics at AC400V | L: 50/25kA; M: 70/35kA; H: 100/50kA |
| Pole / neutral codes | 3P, or 4P A/B/C/D. A: unswitched N without overcurrent release; B: switched N without overcurrent release; C: switched N with overcurrent release; D: unswitched N with overcurrent release. Switched N closes first and opens last. |
| Release codes | 2: instantaneous release; 3: composite release. Confirm exact protective functions for the required release version. |
| Operating / terminal arrangements | Direct handle, rotary handle or motor operation; front, rear or plug-in connection versions require an explicit confirmed order |
| Leakage-alarm module | None; I: leakage alarm and trip; II: leakage alarm without trip. The exact module and alarm/trip requirement must be confirmed in the enquiry. |
| Internal accessories | Accessory availability and auxiliary contact count depend on frame and pole/neutral type; use the original internal-accessory table and specify the exact required code |
| Insulation / impulse withstand | Ui AC1000V; Uimp 8000V |
| Dimensions (mm) | 125A: W92 (3P)/122 (4P), L150, H1 110, H2 96. 250A: W107/142, L165, H1 115, H2 94. 400A: W150/198, L257, H1 148, H2 115. 800A: W210/280, L280, H1 168, H2 122. |
| Standards stated | IEC 60947-2; GB 14048.2; GB/Z 6829 |
Choose frame and rated current together; identical current values can exist in different frames with different dimensions and breaking ratings. Residual-current/delay options are restricted to that selection. The 0.3s value is the source non-delay label, not the trip time at every residual-current multiple; refer to the original timing table. Specify alarm-only versus trip behavior, exact accessories, operation, terminal connection and any auxiliary supply before ordering.
Typical applications
- AC400V distribution circuits requiring residual-current protection and a coordinated moulded-case protective device.
- Industrial installations requiring a specific switched/unswitched neutral arrangement and confirmed alarm/trip functions.
