NewTrend · LCD voltage monitoring relay
Product overview
NewTrend RV8-SV displays the monitored voltage on an LCD and provides independently adjustable overvoltage and undervoltage thresholds, recovery values and trip delays. Set power-up and reset delays from 0.5 to 300 seconds, with automatic fault reset selectable ON or OFF. The two-module DIN-rail relay uses AC/DC 110-240V supply and has two SPDT outputs rated 8A AC-1.

When both protections are enabled, set the overvoltage threshold at least 10V above the undervoltage threshold. Confirm enclosure space against the dimension drawing for the supplied version.
Operation
- Set overvoltage and undervoltage thresholds and their respective recovery values. Either protection can be disabled with OFF; when both are enabled, the upper threshold must be at least 10V above the lower threshold.
- Overvoltage and undervoltage trip delays are adjustable from 0.1 to 20 seconds. Power-up and reset delays are each adjustable from 0.5 to 300 seconds.
- Automatic fault reset is selectable ON/OFF. The timing diagram shows the output and LCD indication through voltage excursions and recovery.
Typical applications
- LCD voltage supervision in equipment connection control circuits
- Normal/emergency supply control through suitable switching equipment

Hold MD for 3 seconds to enter the parameter menu. Use the up/down keys to adjust values; holding a key changes the value rapidly. Hold MD for 3 seconds to save and exit. A 60-second inactivity exit does not save changed values. With normal supply, press R/T for 0.5 second to test relay operation. Installation and wiring must be performed by qualified electricians.
