Product overview
NewTrend RT8-WS controls scheduled load switching through the Tuya Smart app and also provides a front ON/OFF button. Set regular on/off times and cyclic switching during an on period through the app. The 18mm DIN-rail relay has one SPDT output rated 16A AC-1 and uses an AC/DC 110-240V control supply.

Confirm the site Wi-Fi, Tuya Smart availability and the required control functions before ordering. The 16A AC-1 rating does not define permissible motor, LED-driver or other high-inrush loads.
Operation
- Set scheduled on/off times and cyclic switching within the on period through Tuya Smart. The manual does not specify an offline schedule-retention period or app-service guarantee.
- The front button controls the output manually; holding it for 5 seconds starts Wi-Fi pairing. Select a suitable external contactor where the actual load requires one.

Obtain Tuya Smart from the official app store. Hold the front power button for 5 seconds to enter Wi-Fi configuration; the Wi-Fi indicator flashes. Add the relay through the app prompts. The front button also provides manual ON/OFF control. Hold it for 5 seconds to reconfigure the Wi-Fi connection. Installation and wiring must be performed by qualified electricians.
