Product overview
NewTrend RV8-08D monitors phase sequence, phase failure, overvoltage, undervoltage and voltage asymmetry in a three-phase control circuit. The front Un dial selects the nominal voltage. Protection settings are fixed at +15% overvoltage, -15% undervoltage, 8% asymmetry and 2 seconds trip delay. Choose the M460 three-wire or M265 four-wire hardware version. The 18mm relay provides 2 SPDT contacts rated 8A (AC-1).

Photograph shows 3P3W / AC 220-460V. The 08 function code has one nominal-voltage dial; its protection thresholds and trip delay are fixed.
Operation
- Set the nominal-voltage dial for the selected hardware system. Overvoltage and undervoltage thresholds are fixed at +15% and -15% of Un; voltage asymmetry is fixed at 8%.
- The 08 function code uses a fixed 2-second trip delay. Phase-failure and phase-sequence monitoring are also provided.

Select the Un dial position to match the actual nominal system voltage. M460 supply uses L1-L2; M265 supply uses L1-N. The fixed 08-code thresholds are not adjustable. The connection and phase-state drawings apply to the shared terminal arrangement; the drawings do not add adjustable functions. Installation and wiring must be performed by qualified electricians.
